Alpacas of York is located on 21 acres in York County, PA. Our goal is to remain small so we can concentrate on the breeding and raising of quality alpacas with regard to conformation, fleece and health. We sell Alpaca hats, socks, dryer balls and boot inserts.

Distelfink Fiber is located just outside of Carlisle in Cumberland County. We partner with Mulberry Hill Farm to produce high-quality Romney/Border Leicester yarn for our Farm Raised line. We also offer a variety of hand-dyed SW Merino bases in vibrant hues. Shop with us for sweater kits and tons of other project ideas!

We are a small alpaca ranch located outside of Milesburg, Centre County, PA.  Currently our farm is home to a herd of 29 Huacaya alpacas.  They produce luxurious and soft yarn that is a delight to work with. Our yarn is available in beautifully dyed colors or in natural shades.  We also offer some alpaca yarns that are blended with bamboo, merino, silk or tencel fibers.  Alpaca yarn is a great gift idea for the  knitters on your list or just a special treat for yourself!

Established in 2013, our farm evolved from a starter flock of exceptionally fine fiber animals.  Our flock continues to grow here on our 127 acre western NY farm, one hour south of Buffalo, nestled in Amish country.  We practice sustainable farming, meeting our electrical needs with solar panels.  Our animals get individual attention and health care.  Each one has a name and a unique personality.

Kathleen England and Robby England are the “workers" behind the beautiful yarns, colors and original designs of Glenfiddich Wool. The wool comes "fresh from the farm", and we use very "Earth Friendly" techniques for our beautiful products.

Gurdy Run Woolen Mill has been opened since 2001. We offer custom spun yarns, carded rovings and batts, needled felt and knitted product. We have the machinery and experience to process fiber from 3.5 to 10 inches in length and can handle fine wools to long wools. We have processed blends of wool, mohair, angora, alpaca, llama, yak, camel, cashmere, dog, silk, bamboo, linen, nylons etc. We have fibers available for blending. We have worked with flock owners, fiber artists and fashion designers.

Mulberry Hill Farm Yarn and Wool Shop is located in Cumberland County. We specialize is hand-dyed wool fabric for rug hooking and wool applique. We carry Storyteller Wool Rug Yarn for Oxford Punchneedle, embroidery needlepunch supplies/patterns and backing fabrics.

Tamarack Farm is located in Centre County and is home to Icelandic, Merino and Tunis sheep. We have millspun yarn in each of our breeds featuring rustic hand-dyed colors perfect for all your warm, fall projects. In addition, we typically have pelts for sale ranging in color from soft grey to caramel browns.

Underhill Farm

Hollidaysburg, PA

The farm currently raises a heritage breed of sheep, Leicester Longwools, as well as Angora goats that graze on the rolling hills of the area. Their fleeces are processed into lustrous, beautiful yarns. As we are first time shepherds, this endeavor has been a great way to develop new skills and knowledge of both livestock and farming. Our sense of humor has remained intact.
